The Friends of the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library in Manitowish Waters are pleased to present An Evening with New York Times bestselling author Angeline Boulley.

Angeline Boulley’s debut novel, The Firekeeper’s Daughter, was an instant bestseller, recipient of the Printz Medal, the Walter Dean Myers Award, and the Morris Award. It will be adapted at Netflix for TV. Boulley’s bestselling second novel, Warrior Woman Unearthed, is a sequel to The Firekeeper’s Daughter.

Angeline Boulley, an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, is a storyteller who writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She is a former Director of the Office of Indian Education at the U.S. Department of Education. Though she lives in southwest Michigan, Boulley’s home will always be on Sugar Island.

Appetizers will be served from 5:00-6:00p.m., with a cash bar. Angeline Boulley will speak at 6:00p.m., with a Q&A and book signing to follow. Tickets are on sale at the library for $45 (appetizers included). We accept cash and check only. 100 tickets available. Call (715) 543-2700 for more information. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
