The family of Carl C. Christensen will be gathering to honor their uncle who was shot by Baby Face Nelson of the Dillinger gang 90 years ago this April 24 when the gangsters were ‘ushered out” of the Little Bohemia Lodge of Manitowish Waters.

The program will begin at 10 am with a power point presentation and discussion led by Karen Nielsen Lorence.

Jerry Florian, present owner of the Cozy Cove resort once owned/operated by Carl Christensen under the name The Chateau, will be on hand to tell how he has maintained the integrity of the property.

The library will have a display of artifacts relating to the event.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED. Coffee and Danish kringle will be enjoyed by all.
