Come and explore historic mysteries in Manitowish Waters. 2018 marks the third of several presentations detailing 19^th and early 20^th century mysteries on each lake connected to the Manitowish Chain. The 2018 presentation will reveal unsolved historic question on Manitowish, Little Star and Spider lakes. For instance, recently discover early 20^th century images and maps illustrate the impacts of railroad networks around Little Star Lake on both logging and tourism.  Also, multiple sunken trees in Spider Lake suggests the dramatic environmental impact from the Rest Lake Dam from around 1900.
