The Manitowish Waters Women’s Service League will be co-hosting a “Tick Talk” presentation by Jeff Waite representing the Waite Kane Foundation. Jeff’s presentation will be on Lyme Disease and tick-borne illnesses, threats to all of us.

After losing a daughter to Lyme disease, he and his wife Jillayne became instrumental in the establishment of the Howard Young Tick Center in Woodruff and are dedicated to furthering tick education.

As a community service, the talk is open to the public and will be held at the library. Cookies and beverages will be available.
