Resources During ISOLATION

Wisconsin Digital Library – books and audiobooks free! (you need your library card number)

Amazon Audible Stories – WOW, a nice selection of audiobooks free during this time of closed schools.

Lunch Doodles w/ Mo Willems –  Mo did 15 lunch doodle lessons for kids during isolation. They are available at this link.

At Home Learning w/ PBS  – they have a curriculum schedule for their on air and streaming programs.

Harry Potter Virtual Escape Room – put together by librarians – kinda cute for a bit of HP fun

Harry Potter at home – Pottermore website w/ lots of at home fun. Scroll down the page a ways to get to quizzes and stuff (you do NOT need to register to get to these activities).

Gale Courses – free online courses in all types of topics (you need your library card number)

Brightly Storytime – read aloud storybooks for a variety of ages (younger kids)

Ideas to Fight Boredom and Loneliness – it’s from New Mexico, but it has some good links

Dolly Parton’s Bedtime Stories – Dolly has LONG been donating books to children in need, now she’s reading them so you can enjoy them from home

UW Badger Talks – live facebook lectures on a wide variety of topics. Keep you mind busy during this trying time.

Book Page online! – a great monthly periodical which highlights new books in all sorts of genres. Now online.
