Supporting the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library
The Friends of the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library are an auxiliary support group for the library. The Friends run several fundraisers throughout the year, and provide a large portion of the library's new material budget.
Every fall, we give the contributions from individual donors and the proceeds of our fundraisers to the library. The library director uses this money for the purchase of computers, books, DVDs, and other materials and programs. As you may know, our tax dollars pay for building utilities, library salaries, and the Merlin program, but do not pay for the purchase of any library materials.
As always, we thank you for your consideration and continued support.

Library Book Worm
Would you like to recommend a favorite book, DVD or magazine? Consider making a gift to the Friends’ Library Book Worm found at the front desk. Please think about how you use our library, what fantastic services it offers, and how you can contribute. A gift of $15 buys one new DVD, $25 buys one book, $35 buys one book on CD, and larger donations support many special projects at the library.
The Friends are not all about fundraising: every day you can see some of the 40-50 cheerful volunteers who keep the library running. They check books in and out, shelve items, shovel snow, suggest a great read, and assist library patrons any way they can. Our volunteers come from Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Lac du Flambeau, Mercer, Presque Isle, and Winchester, proving that people all over the northwoods love the Koller Library.
